The Selecon
Rama 175 Fresnel is a high performance 1000/1200W theatre
fresnel with a 175mm (7 inch) lens that provides excellent
performance and beam quality. The large 175mm lens provides
up to 50% more illumination than conventional 150mm fresnels
The light beam has a soft edge and is adjustable from a narrow
spot of 7 degrees to a medium flood of 56 degrees. The beam
shape can be controlled using the four-leaf rotatable barn
door accessory. Access for relamping is via a swing down bottom
that is fitted with a cut-out switch for safety. |

Beam adjustment
is achieved by loosening the focus knob and sliding the lamp
and reflector in relation to the fixed fresnel lens. The "posi-slide"
focusing mechanism minimises any vibration of the lamp. |

The Selecon
Rama 175 FT Fresnel has the same features as the Rama 175
Fresnel but with the addition of Selecon's innovative "Fast
Focus Technology" (patents pending) to reduce focus time.

Detailed
Features |

The tilt and
focus scales are marked in real degrees to enable fast, accurate,
adjustment of the luminaire. The pan adjustment on FFT luminaires
also is marked in degrees. This enables information from the lighting
designer's calculations or visualisation software to be used to
preset the luminaire focus on the ground before the lighting bars
are flown leaving only fine tuning to be done during the focus session. |

The
safety bond is built into the luminaire (left) to ensure this essential
safety aid is always on hand. When rigging, simply release the top
slide lock, pull out the wire and fit to the lighting bar. Reverse
this procedure to store the safety bond back into the luminaire. |

The "posi-slide"
focusing mechanism (right) ensures the lamp tray slides easily and
smoothly to minimise any vibration of the lamp while focusing the
luminaire. |
