The information presented on this Web Site is arranged in two basic page types these being section index pages and document pages. The layout of all pages comprises of four sections which are a header, a navigation bar, the page body, and a footer.
Page Header and Footer
The page header section always displays the Adena logo on the left with the page title in large letters on the right of the logo. Clicking on the logo exits the site, returning you to the main page just as if you had typed www.adena.co.nz into your browser. The page footer gives the date the page was last revised and a copyright notice.
Navigation Bar
The navigation bar provides up to three icons to allow backward navigation from the current page to a previous page. The home page doesn't need these 'back' icons, instead it provides 'special' icons for things like this Help Page.

Theatre Home | This icon appears on the left of the navigation bar on all pages except the web site Home Page. Click on this icon or the underlined link to return directly to the web site Home Page. |

Products Catalogue | This icon appears in the centre of the navigation bar on the index page for each section (e.g. Lighting, Sound, Makeup) of the Products Catalogue. Click on this icon or the underlined link to return to the main index page for the Products Catalogue. |

Section Catalogue | This icon appears on the centre of the navigation bar on all pages within each section (e.g. Lighting, Sound, Makeup) of the Products Catalogue. Click on this icon or the underlined link to return to the index page for that section of the catalogue. |

Technical Reference | This icon appears on the centre of the navigation bar on all pages within the Technical Reference section of the web site. Click on this icon or the underlined link to return to the index page for the Technical Reference section. |

Sub-section | This icon appears on the right of the navigation bar on all document pages. Click on this icon or the underlined link with the sub-section name to return to the folder that contains the document you are viewing and all documents with similar content. |

Site Navigation | This icon appears only on the Home Page. Clicking on this icon or the underlined link will display this Help Page. |
Page Body
The page body either contains a collection of folder and document icons with any applicable notes, or a complete document. All the icons provide forward navigation through a logical series of sections, and sometimes sub-sections, to facilitate the selection and display of documents that contain information about the selected product, service or technical topic.

Folder Name | The folder icon is used for links to pages containing multiple items which may be another page of folder icons, a page of document icons, or a combination of both. Clicking on a folder icon takes you to the contents of the folder. |

Document Name | The document icon is used for links to pages containing a single document formatted as a normal web page. Clicking on a document icon will display the document on screen. |

PDF Document Name | The PDF document icon is used for links to pages containing a single document formatted as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file ready for display in the Adobe Reader application. Depending upon your web browser settings, PDF documents will either automatically display in a new browser window or tab, or you may be prompted to download and save the document so it can be opened in Adobe Reader manually. |
The picture below shows the layout of a typical section index page containing a collection of folders. The page header identifies the page as being the "Stage Sound Catalogue" so this page is an index to sub-sections containing various types of sound products. The navigation bar provides icons and links to enable you to go back directly to the Theatre Home Page or the Products Catalogue index. The icons in the page body enable you to go forward to the information of the type indicated. The body text provides a welcome message at the top and some 'Ordering' notes at the bottom that are relevant to this section of the catalogue. The page footer shows when the page was last revised and a the copyright notice.

The page header identifies the page as being the "Glitter and Sparkles" so this page is an index to documents about various types of glitter products. The navigation bar provides icons and links to enable you to go back directly to the Theatre Home Page or the Makeup Catalogue index. The icons in the page body enable you to go forward to documents about each of the products indicated. In this case the icons are also grouped by the manufacturer's name. The body text provides a welcome message at the top and some 'Ordering' notes at the bottom that are relevant to this section of the catalogue. The page footer shows when the page was last revised and a the copyright notice.
The picture below shows the layout of a typical document page containing detailed information about a product. The page header identifies the page as being the "Adena DMX Terminators" so this page is a document about some DMX Terminators made by Adena. The navigation bar provides icons and links to enable you to go back directly to the Theatre Home Page, go back directly to the Lighting Catalogue index, or go back to the DMX Accessories page that contains this document and documents for other similar products. There are no icons in the page body. The body provides a description and photo of the product along with the necessary ordering information. The body may also contain additional photos, diagrams and technical details that apply to various products. For products where there are colour choices, the ordering information table will show the available colours. The page footer shows when the page was last revised and a the copyright notice.
